District 9 opens tonight at midnight.
What is District 9?
It's a film by Neil Blojkamp and produced by Peter Jackson.

It has been very anticipated since it's production was announced.
To give you a little taste of what is in store for you, here are some shorts by Neil Blojkamp.
First off is the short film "Alive in Joburg", upon which "District 9" is based.
Next, we have a "HALO" short (based on the game). Mr. Blojkamp whipped this up to see if he could gain the director's spot.

I am really looking forward to this movie, as I"m SOOOO TIRED of all these non-imaginative (but makes the cash cow moo) remakes that Hollywood has been excreting for the past few years.
